“Before activating JE Horizon for your contracting business, may J.E. Herizon LLC, doing business as JE Horizon, send recurring transactional text messages to the mobile number you provided? Messages may include new-lead alerts, missed-call notifications, appointment reminders, service updates, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Initial usage is approximately 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing JE Horizon. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. You may also contact [email protected]. Do you agree to receive these text messages?”
Required Affirmative Response: The contractor must answer affirmatively, such as: “Yes, I agree.”

1. Program & Sender Information

2. Message Scope & Permitted Content

Telephony is direct carrier infrastructure. Messages are transactional only. No advertising, no purchased lists, no spam. Two audiences:

2b. How Callers Opt In

A caller opts in by contacting the shop: they dial or text the contractor’s existing published number. After voice activation and compatible call-forwarding setup, unanswered calls may forward to a Line service number. That inbound contact is consent to receive transactional texts about that service request from J.E. Herizon LLC DBA JE Horizon, identifying the shop by name. The first SMS includes STOP and HELP. A phone number in a phone book is not consent. STOP ends texts; START restores them. Details: this page, privacy, and terms.

3. Verbal Consent Collection & Audit Logging

Contractor written consent is recorded in Settings after they enter a mobile number, check an initially unchecked box, and confirm. Contractor alerts require completed approval and activation; delivery is not yet proven by this consent script. Verbal enrollment, when used, follows this process:

  1. Verbal Script Delivery: The authorized script is recited word-for-word to the contractor over the phone.
  2. Explicit Affirmation: The contractor must state a clear affirmative agreement (e.g., “Yes, I agree”). Silence, ambiguous replies, or pre-checked assumptions are never treated as consent.
  3. Consent Record: The consent method and timestamp are recorded. A saved consent record is not proof that a call connected or a message was delivered.
  4. Confirmation SMS: Following affirmative consent and carrier activation, a confirmation SMS may be sent to the phone number with clear opt-out commands.

4. Message Frequency, Rates & Non-Condition Statement

5. Opt-Out (STOP) & Customer Support (HELP)
